In case you missed it, earlier this week we reported on scathing comments from former Steelers coach Bill Cowher and Steelers all time leading receiver Heinz Ward regarding the current state of the Pittsburgh Steelers. You can see Cowher's comments here and Ward's comments here. During Tomlin's weekly press conference the topic came up ,and while Mike Tomlin stated that he understood Ward and Cowher both had jobs to do, and that those jobs could lead them to criticize their former club, he made it clear that the comments meant little to nothing to him. Tomlin went so far as to comparing the comments to "elevator music" The comments however did not fall on deaf ears, as they echoed what many Steelers fans are feeling, and there's no question the organization took note of the comments from two of their best. Do you agree with Tomlin's stance? Did he have any other choice but to brush them off? Lets us know your thoughts in the comments below.
