Brandon Marshall couldn't be happier today.
The Denver Broncos' inside linebacker managed to play through pain all season long after having two screws inserted in his foot last offseason. One of the screws even broke during before the start of the regular season, leaving Marshall in an uncomfortable situation.
Despite the pain, Marshall started every game, finishing with 101 tackles, one interception, four passes defended and two forced fumbles.
As per Troy Renck of The Denver Post, Marshall visited the same doctor that treated Peyton Manning this season on Friday, and had 1 1/2 of those screws removed. Estimated recovery time for Marshall is about a month.
Marshall is a restricted free agent this offseason, and the team will look to re-sign him among many others.
