The NFL has decided that another member of the New England Patriots has violated league rules.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, New England Patriots' defensive lineman Alan Branch is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's drug policy. As per Schefter, the suspension is due to a positive test for marijuana and Branch will appeal the ruling.
The tenth-year pro is a crucial starter for the Pats and has made 10 starts for the Patriots this season, recording 33 tackles with one sack and one forced fumble.
Malcom Brown and Vincent Valentine will be expected to take on bigger roles in Branch's absence.
