Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave sustained an injury during Pittsburgh's Thursday OTA., but was still able to walk off the field under his own strength.
Outside linebacker Arthur Moats confirmed that the defensive tackle had been injured, but said he didn’t know the details regarding Hargrave.
Add Hargrave’s name to an injured list that also includes cornerback Sean Davis and running back James Conner, and the Steelers seem to be trying to get their injuries over with in the pre-preseason.
Davis is on the mend following surgery on his shoulder after the AFC Championship Game last season, which has limited his participation with the Steelers as he recovers.
Conner was finally able to take part in the second week of the Steelers OTAs. He is recovering after his inspirational bought with Hodgkin's lymphoma.
Hargrave made 13 starts in his rookie season last year, recording two sacks and managing a touchdown after a fumble recovery (see video below).
