Former controversial NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers after being selected in the 6th round of the 2010 NFL Draft, though he wore out his welcome with his antics and behavior and would be dealt to the Oakland Raiders following the 2018 season.
He had requested a trade from the franchise that gave him his start and opportunity in the world's best football league, and now he's explaining why.
“I just felt like at some point in your career, you want to win a Super Bowl,” he said during an appearance on 'Cam Capone News'. “And for me, I was just trying to put myself in the best scenario to accomplish [that]. And I did.”
"Yeah, it wasn't" he answered when asked if he thought it was going to happen with the Steelers.
His time with the Raiders was short-lived, as he was released and subsequently signed with the New England Patriots.
“I don’t want to be a Raider. I want to be a winner,” he told Raiders owner Mark Davis.
Eventually, he'd make his way to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, helping them to Super Bowl LV against the Kansas City Chiefs.
