It looked as though Teddy Bridgewater might never play football again and he might even lose his leg! But now he's back in practice for Minnesota, the team who drafted him and where he subsequently became the starter.
Bridgewater was on the path to stardom before the awful injury occurred in practice. During team practice on August 30, 2016, Bridgewater suffered a non-contact injury to his left leg. A subsequent MRI confirmed that he had torn his ACL and suffered other structural damage, including a dislocation of the knee joint.
He had just been named to his first Pro Bowl
Welcome back, Mr. Bridgewater
