The Denver Broncos were already rather surprised when they lost what most believed was their future quarterback, Brock Osweiler, when he decided to leave for the Houston Texans in free agency. Now it appears he is not the only Broncos player that other teams are interested in stealing from Denver.
According to multiple reports, Broncos running back C.J. Anderson is being targeted by at least three other teams at the moment, those teams are the New England Patriots, the Chicago Bears, and the Miami Dolphins. In the case of the dolphins Anderson had a visit scheduled today.
There is less risk involved in Anderson's free agency than there was with Osweiler's as the running back remains a restricted free agent, and the Broncos would have the option to match any offer sheet that Anderson decides to sign. With that said, if three teams are attempting to outbid one another, the Broncos may end up with two uncomfortable options, overpay for Anderson and keep him, or lose another big piece of your offense.
Some visits today: Andre Smith to the #Vikings, RFA RB CJ Anderson to the #Dolphins, Matt Moore & Cedric Thornton to the #Cowboys.
