Texans head coach Bill O'Brien has been around a lot of quarterbacks in his life. From his days in New England to now in Houston, he's seen a lot of rookie signal callers come through training camp. Apparently, Texans first round pick Deshaun Watson is the best he's ever seen.
That's high praise. Watson is noted as being extremely accurate, having a good understanding of the game and being a clutch player from his days at the University of Clemson.
We should still take this all with a grain of salt. Coaches praise players throughout training camp every year and then we forget about all that praise when these guys don't live up to the hype. With that said, the Texans need a solid quarterback and maybe trading up to get Watson was the answer they were looking for.
