Miami Dolphins second-round draft pick Raekwon McMillan will miss the entire 2017 season after suffering a torn ACL. The linebacker was selected out of Ohio State 54th overall.
To say the least, this is a huge blow for a Miami Dolphins team already mourning the loss of starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill for at least some amount of time.
McMillan was slotted in as the starting middle linebacker alongside Kiko Alonso and Lawrence Timmons, per the Miami Dolphins website.
Per ESPN, McMillan, who was drafted in the second round out of Ohio State, suffered the injury to his right knee on punt coverage in the opening minutes of the first quarter. He walked off the field under his own power, was taken to the locker room and did not return.
