Cowboys' offensive lineman Chaz Green is out for training camp with a shoulder injury according to team owner Jerry Jones.

Green was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He has unfortunately been dogged by injury troubles since then, missing training camp in 2015 with a hip injury. In 2016 he only played in four games, starting in two of them, due to a foot sprain in October and a herniated disk in December.

At this time it looks like he could be ready to go for the Cowboys' preseason games.

The Cowboys do have good depth on the offensive line with Tyron SmithTravis Frederick and Zack Martin, so even if Green takes some more time to recover the team doesn't have to worry.

For Green it is truly an unfortunate start to a player still looking to prove himself in the NFL. Hopefully he can bounce back quickly.
