The San Francisco 49ers have made a couple of roster changes in the past few weeks, and they are obviously not done. The organization announced the signature of defensive back Will Davis. They had to release wide receiver Rashad Ross to make room for him in the 90-man roster.
According to Pro Football Talk, "Davis is listed as a cornerback by the 49ers and played there in Miami, but also has experience at safety from his time in Baltimore."
He was selected in the third-round of the 2013 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins. He played only 20 games in the league over the last four seasons because he tore his ACL twice.
