Derek Wolfe missed time last year due to a fractured elbow. Reports have surfaced in the past couple minutes that he has left Broncos practice with another injury.
Luckily, it's not the same injury as last year because we've found out that word is that it's his shoulder. We hope the best for Derek and his injury luck. The Broncos will need him. Wolfe was the only Broncos defensive lineman who graded positively over the course of 2016 according to Pro Football Focus (Ray and Miller are outside linebackers). Having him healthy and finding someone to compliment him at the other defensive end spot are important for the Broncos to find this pre-season.
The Broncos signed Domato Peko and Zach Kerr to help shore up their d-line this offseason.
