Dallas Cowboys' linebacker Mark Nzeocha had to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his knee, as the team ends OTAs. We have no idea if he will be back in time for the training camp, which starts on July 22.
According to the Cowboys' official website, "It’s a cleanup procedure for him, who’s in competition for more defensive snaps entering his third NFL season. The Cowboys haven’t announced a timetable for Nzeocha’s return, though arthroscopic procedures typically take a period of weeks for full recovery."
Nzeocha was selected in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL draft. The 25-year-old a suffered many severe injuries since the beginning of his career. He spent most of his rookie season recovering from a torn ACL, and missed parts of last year because of a strained Achilles tendon.
