The Philadelphia Ealges have cut ties with veteran cornerback Ron Brooks, a depth corner who formerly started games during his time with Buffalo.
It wasn't the only move the Eagles made Wednesday morning:
Brooks, 28, was a fourth round pick out of LSU in 2012 of the Bills and spent 2016 with the Eagles. Brooks ruptured his right quadriceps tendon in Week 7, ending his season.
The Eagles will save $750,000 in cap space by releasing Brooks.
With Brooks out of the picture, the Eagles will likely roll with former Bill Ronald Darby, and as their top three corners. They also recently released a third former Bills cornerback, Leodis McKelvin, who spent just one year in Philly.
