Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys has reportedly been involved in a car accident on Sunday that has resulted in him missing this week’s OTAs.
Elliott was a passenger in the vehicle when the accident occurred, but according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Todd Archer, he did not suffer any major injuries as a result.
The Cowboys have decided to err on the side of caution and have kept Elliott away from practices because he did apparently sustain a head injury in the crash.
This is already the second time this year Elliott has been involved in a motor vehicle collision, he was in a crash in Dallas back in January.
The good news for Cowboys and Elliott fans is that he escaped this latest accident without a major injury, there’s no reason to expect that the running back won’t be ready to start the season.
Further details regarding Sunday’s accident are not yet available, but let’s hope it’s the last crash Elliott is involved in for awhile. Otherwise they might need to get him a bus pass…
