A newly released deposition surrounding the Jarry Sandusky case that occurred at Penn State has leveled some major allegations against former National Football League head coach Greg Schiano.

According to the testimony of former Penn State assistant coach, and star witness, Mike McQuery, Schiano knew of the abuse from Sandusky decades prior to his crimes coming to light, and decades prior to his eventual arrest and incarceration.

McQueary, a key witness in Sandusky’s 2012 criminal trial who said he witnessed Sandusky assaulting a boy in the shower in 2001, told lawyers he once discussed what he saw with longtime Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Bradley. Bradley, according to McQueary, was “not shocked” and said he “knew of some things” involving Sandusky.

According to McQueary, Bradley told him that Greg Schiano, a Penn State assistant in the early '90s, had once "come into [Bradley’s] office white as a ghost and said he just saw Jerry doing something to a boy in the shower."

Of course the implication here is that Schiano, a high profile figure in the football world at the time, could have used his platform to prevent Sandusky from victimizing more boys.

Of course there are two sides to every story, and Schiano has denied the claims made against him in the deposition.
