Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders was involved in a car collision Tuesday evening, reports KUSA's Erin Powell.
Sanders was headed into practice when he collided with an 18-year-old girl. It happened around 7:45.
Both vehicles were damaged but no one was seriously hurt. Sanders complained of a headache; Caldon told police her right hand hurt.
Police cited both drivers for careless driving.
9NEWS' Broncos Insider Mike Klis says Sanders did practice in full on Tuesday, without any apparent issues.
The 30-year-old from Bellville, Texas is entering his eighth NFL season. He's played in Denver since signing prior to the 2014 season.
Sanders has caught 417 career passes for 5,601 yards and 31 scores.
