The Los Angeles Rams got down to business at the final hour and have managed to cross the finish line.
According to a breaking news report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Rams and wide receiver Cooper Kupp have agreed to terms on a brand new contract. The deal is reportedly a 3 year contract extension that will be worth up to $48 million which means that the talented receiver could be looking at a whopping $16 million per season if he collects on the full value of his new deal.
There has been some rumblings earlier in the day that the Rams were looking to get this deal done before game day on Sunday and it appears as though they managed to put pen to paper.
Kupp is coming off a career season in which he had 94 receptions for 1,161 yards and a whopping 10 touchdowns. No doubt this was money well earned for the young man.
