The Baltimore Ravens have an agreement in principle to trade quarterback Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos, according ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Flacco had spent his entire 11-year career with the Ravens and was named Super Bowl MVP in 2013 when the Ravens won the Super Bowl. Last season, he however lost his starting job to rookie Lamar Jackson.
In nine starts with the Ravens last year, Flacco had 2,465 passing yards and 12 touchdowns to six interceptions. Flacco was selected 18th overall back in 2008.
Last year, the Broncos signed Case Keenum to a two-year deal.
The trade cannot be officially processed until the new NFL league year begins March 13. The teams are prohibited from commenting on the deal or the terms surrounding it. When the deal is completed, it likely will be for a mid-round pick, sources told ESPN.
