The Pittsburgh Steelers have rewarded their second-round pick of 2014 Stephon Tuitt with a five-year contract extension, the team announced Saturday.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the deal is worth $60 million.
After spending most of his rookie season coming off the bench as part of Pittsburgh's defensive line rotation, Tuitt became the Steelers' star defensive lineman.
He made 28 starts, and finished with four sacks to help the team reach the AFC championship game in 2016.
