Random testing, eh...
James Harrison is one of the most dominant players in Steelers history and at the ripe age of 39, he’s still an impact player for Pittsburgh. Last year, he paced the team with 5 sacks as an elder statesman, and now the NFL is making sure he’s superb longevity is all clean. Harrison recently posted a photo on Instagram claiming he’s been tested for PED’s a third time this offseason already!
Harrison has never tested positive for PED’s in his long and storied career. Harrison went undrafted out of Kent State University in 2002 and was signed by the Steelers before being cut, signed by the Ravens and moved to NFL Europe for a year. By 2004, he was back with the Steelers for good and would go on to win 2 Super Bowls with the team. Known for his ferocious tackling and pass rushing skills, his most memorable play came when he intercepted a Carson Palmer pass in Super Bowl XLIII and returned it 100 yards for a touchdown.
