We have a trade to announce the the National Football League.
According to a breaking news report from the NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles have come to terms on a trade deal that will see two draft picks and a player on the move.
Going to Seattle will be both offensive lineman Matt Tobin as well as a 2018 seventh round draft selection and in exchange the Seahawks will be sending a 2018 fifth round draft choice back the other way to Philadelphia.
Rapoport reports that the Seahawks have been making calls all day in an attempt to replace injured tackle George Fant and it appears that this was the best deal the Seahawks could put together on short notice.
Tobin has demonstrated flexibility on the offensive line in the past, however he is coming off a knee injury in 2016 so it will be interesting to see how and where he fits into the Seahawks lineup.
