The NFL has another trade today, this time between the Seattle Seahawks and the Minnesota Vikings.
Despite recently signing cornerback Tramaine Brock, the Seahawks have shipped him out to Minnesota.
In exchange, the Seahawks got a 7th-round draft pick.
They also get to keep cornerback Jeremy Lane.
Brock is a 29-year-old veteran player who played for the 49ers from 2010 to 2016, before signing with the Seahawks on August 16th. Lane, 27, was drafted by the Seahawks 172nd overall in the sixth round of the
With a ton of talent at the cornerback position, there's no doubt that the Seahawks have been trying to decide which assets they can move, and for what kind of return, before being forced to let them walk come Saturday's 53-man roster cut deadline.
The Seahawks cornerback depth chart now looks something like this: Richard Sherman, Jeremy Lane, Shaq Griffin, Justin Coleman, and Pierre Desir. Tough decisions have to be made.
