The New Orleans Saints have moved on from their first round pick in 2015, linebacker Stephone Anthony, shipping him to Miami in exchange for a 2018 draft pick.
For the Dolphins, the move clearly comes as cause-and-effect following Lawrence Timmons' indefinite suspension.
Anthony earned PFWA All-Rookie Team honors in 2015, but only played 10 games last season before landing on the IR to end his 2016 campaign.
In a juicy twist of fate, wrote NFL.com, Anthony and the are slated to battle the in London come Week 4.
"The former Clemson star was no longer a fit for the, who overhauled their linebacking unit this offseason. In Miami, though, he'll certainly earn playing time following the of linebacker .
"Anthony gives thea speedy linebacker with the physical skills to cover pass-catchers in space. That said, his star faded quickly in New Orleans. A fresh start should help."
