Denver Broncos safety Will Parks has been fined over $9,000 for his hit against the Buffalo Bills Sunday.
It's not the first time Parks has been fined for physical play:
Park’s base salary is $540,000 this season, according to Spotrac.com. Park’s four-year deal is worth $2,440,356, with base salaries of $630,000 in 2018 and $720,000 in 2019.
He's not a starter but he's seen an expanded role on defense this year after the team released veteran T.J. Ward before their season opener. The second-year safety played 27 defensive snaps in Buffalo and 26 special teams snaps.
The Broncos selected Parks in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL draft out of Arizona.
Parks, 23, has recorded seven tackles this season. He recorded 22 tackles and one interception as a rotational player in 2016.
In June it was reported that Parks was facing domestic violence charges stemming from a run-in with an ex girlfriend.
