The Dallas Cowboys have suffered a number of injuries to their offense already this summer and this time it's a tight end going down, and it looks like it's going to cost him some regular season games.

According toa report from Drew Davison of the Forth Worth Star-Telegram, tight end James Hanna will need corrective surgery to repair the damage to his knee, an injury that already had him sidelined on the physically unable to perform list.

While it's still not clear, Davison reports that the surgery is likely to keep Hanna out for the start of the regular season, and Davison believes that could result in him starting the season on the reserve/PUP list which would cost him 6 games.

We will know more once Hanna has undergone the surgery.
