If the Dallas Cowboys and star running back Ezekiel Elliott are anticipating his suspension appeal ruling, it doesn't seem like it in Frisco.
Per NFL Network's Jane Slater, Elliott is participating in all team activities like normal:
Elliott is currently entangled in the legal vines of his suspension appeal and lawsuit recently filed in federal court. The NFL previously handed him a six-game suspension for "multiple acts of violence" against his then-girlfriend over four days in the summer of 2016.
Elliott appealed the ruling, but filed a lawsuit against the NFL during the appeals process last week, seeking to prevent any ruling.
After the appeal hearing, arbitrator Harold Henderson is under pressure to rule on the NFL’s punishment “as soon as practicable.”
The Cowboys host the Giants on Sunday.
