One of the big rumors of the offseason for the Dallas Cowboys has surrounded the future of running back Alfred Morris.
With the emergence of running back Ezekiel Elliott as by far the most dominant back on the Cowboys roster, there has been little room for Morris to showcase his skills.
The logical fit for both parties appears to be a future for Morris on another roster, and by all accounts Morris has handled himself well this offseason despite the rumors around him.
“Straight pro,” Cowboys running backs coach Gary Brown told Pro Football Talk. “Doesn’t talk about it. Doesn’t mention it. Comes out has fun with it. Enjoys being around his teammates. That’s the kind of guys you need.”
While it's always possible that Morris could remain on the Cowboys roster, given the circumstances that now seems more and more unlikely.
