"Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith has a sprained lateral collateral ligament in his knee. He is not expected to practice today but he has not practiced on a Wednesday in weeks because of back, hip and groin injuries. It's questionable he will be available Sunday against Seattle."
"Even a mild sprain that is not severe usually takes a week or so to recover from, and more severe sprains can take 4-6 weeks. It’s impossible to know without having the information the Cowboys and their doctors have, but it sure sounds like Smith might miss at least this week’s game, and possibly next week. Then if there is a game after that, we’d have to see about his condition."
Not a good look for the suddenly hot Cowboys. We all remember what happened the last time Smith was out.
