Cowboys to work out former Steelers wide receiver
A former Steeler coming to town?
The Football Feed
The NFL has reinstated wide receiver Martavis Bryant nearly five years after his indefinite suspension, and it looks as though the Dallas Cowboys are coming calling.
Bryant is a 2014 fourth-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he racked up impressive numbers in his first pair of seasons, a total of 1,314 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. However, he would soon be suspended for four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.
Unfortunately, he wasn't able to keep himself out of trouble and earned a suspension for the entire 2016 NFL season. In his first season back, he racked up 603 receiving yards and three touchdowns. After a knee injury felled him in 2018, he would be suspended indefinitely by the NFL for a violation of his conditional reinstatement.
