Critical update released on Steelers' Kenny Pickett
He's been absent with an ankle injury

The Pittsburgh Steelers are gearing up to face the Baltimore Ravens in what will be their final regular season game of the 2023 schedule. The good news is that they've already guaranteed that head coach Mike Tomlin's streak of non-losing seasons has increased to 17 years running thanks to last weekend's 30-23 win over the Seattle Seahawks.
And while it will be quarterback Mason Rudolph once again getting the start for the Steelers, Kenny Pickett will be back on the sidelines as the backup for the first time since he suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 14.
He's been medically cleared to dress for the game, and will be the second quarterback on the depth chart for the game against Baltimore, while Mitchell Trubisky will be the 3rd stringer.
Can the Steelers improve their record to 10-7 in the regular season finale?
