The Green Bay Packers are getting a big piece of their lineup back into action tomorrow afternoon in time to face the Denver Broncos.
Cornerback Eric Stokes, who has not played since last November, has officially been activated off Injured Reserve according to Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst. In a corresponding move, the Packers have released linebacker Justin Hollins.
The news was first reported by NFL reporter Mike Garafalo:
Stokes, who was selected by the Packers in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, suffered a Lisfranc injury last season; he was also hampered in his recovery process thanks to a hamstring injury. Tomorrow will be his first game in nearly a full calendar year.
The Packers take on the Broncos from Empower Field at Mile High in Denver starting at 4:25 PM EST.
