The Dallas Cowboys are signing a native Texas son to their roster, which has to be a dream come true for just about any football player hailing from the great Lone Star State.
Defensive end Ben Banogu, who hails from North Texas and graduated from Prosper High School, will be signed to a contract by the Cowboys.
He played collegiate football at TCU, and would be drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round (No. 49 overall) of the 2019 NFL draft. He's spent his entire career with the Colts so far.
Last season, he racked up 10 tackles in 16 games.
