There were many who expected the Denver Broncos to go for a quarterback at number 20 in the National Football League draft, but after a number of trades and a number of early quarterback picks, the Broncos were left with very limited options.
With that in mind the Broncos opted not to select a quarterback at all and instead made the decision to select offensive tackle Garrett Bolles out of Utah. For Bolles it was a feel good story who was on hand with his four-month old child clearly something that has motivated him to be a successful football player.
Bolles was kicked out of his home and kicked out of school at the age of 17 years old and after troubled childhood still managed to turn his life around to the point that he was selected in the first round of the draft this evening.
It's truly a heartwarming story, and the Broncos get what they felt was the best offensive lineman in the draft.
