Dolphins parking lot tailgate turns into a nightmare

Yesterday featured the 1st game of the 2022 NFL season for the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins, which featured a quarterbacks duel between Mac Jones and Tua Tagovailoa.

First thing first, every good football game starts with a tailgate party. However, what was supposed to be a celebration of the start of the NFL season turned into a nightmare when several cars caught on fire. As reported by ABC News, a grill forgotten in the parking lot after the tailgate ignited one vehicle then another and another.

Take a look at the result of the damage in the parking lot when the authorities were able to get the fire under control: 

Even if this situation was a nightmare for the owners of those cars, it certainly could have turned out far worse. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. 

The Dolphins won 20-7 over the Pats, their 4th straight win over New England.
