Former Baltimore Ravens safety Matt Elam has had all charges against him dropped this Monday, June 26th.
According to Miami-Dade County online records, the 25-year-old Elam was charged with cannabis possession, possession with intent to sell or deliver, and possession of a controlled substance. The charges were filed after Elam was arrested at traffic stop on Feb. 26, 2017.
The Ravens made it official that they were moving on from their former first-round pick, Elan became a unrestricted free agent in March and remains unsigned.
Elan also had separate charges of grand theft and battery dropped last week, stemming from an incident in Palm Beach Country earlier this year.
Likely, no team will want to touch him after so many ugly offseason issues, regardless of the charges being dropped.
This will likely be the last the NFL hears from Matt Elam.
