Eddie Lacy will in fact be playing for the Seahawks this year as he has passed Pete Carroll's weight test last week coming into camp.
Pete Carroll made the announcement at his Monday press conference
"Yep, [He's] perfectly on track," Carroll said, when asked if Lacy had met his weight requirements.
Lacy has a few more weigh-in's over the next couple weeks which could net him some nice bonus money.
That's a pretty hefty chunk of change considering its your job to stay in shape. Lacy came over to Seattle this offseason from the Packers, the team who originally drafted him out of the University of Alabama in 2013. His best season came in 2014 when he averaged 4.6 yards per carry and had 9 rushing touchdowns to go along with 4 receiving scores.
