There's one player on the Dallas Cowboys who's big impact has largely gone unnoticed in this difficult 2017 campaign, and that's defensive end Ty Crawford, says Dallas Cowboys writer and former NFL scout Bryan Broaddus.
So who has been the most consistent player over the past three weeks?
"Boy, I haven't had a chance to think about that. That is a tough one. I felt like that there are -- jeez, because I always think about Anthony Hitchens and how he's playing banged up right now, and I'll tell you what, actually, Jaylon Smith played a pretty good game [last Thursday] for him, so I'm not saying the for the last three weeks. I'll tell you a guy that's been really, really consistent throughout the whole thing, though, is Tyrone Crawford. I don't think Tyrone Crawford gets nearly the credit that he deserves. We all know, again, how much money he makes, so when he doesn't have 12 sacks, we're all up his rear about, 'Well, he's not doing anything.' But I think if you talk about down after down, the most consistent -- he's playing a position that's very, very difficult for him to play, at right defensive end, but he's played it very, very well, and so I would say he was a guy that I would kinda lean to as that guy that has been the most consistent throughout these troubled times."
