Extended Pittsburgh Steelers family suffers tragic loss

The extended family of the Pittsburgh Steelers has suffered an unfortunate loss with the passing of two-time Super Bowl winner Sidney Thornton at the age of 68.
Originally a draft selection out of Northwestern State, he was a member of the Steelers from 1976 to 1982, and racked up amassed a total of 1,512 yards and 18 rushing touchdowns. Over the course of his career, he also hauled in 46 catches for 515 yards and six touchdowns.
He helped the Steelers to victory in Super Bowl XIII and XIV.
