Ezekiel Elliott is taking the NFL, and it's fans by storm.
His sensational rookie campaign is one of the main factors behind the Cowboys' NFC-best 7-1 record. The Dallas Cowboys' running back is emerging as one of the NFL's brightest young superstars.
Elliott's star has risen so quickly, in fact, that his jersey is the NFL's biggest seller from April 1 to October 31, league officials told ESPN's Darren Rovell.
Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz is second, with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., and Cowboys rookie quarterback Dak Prescott rounding out the top five.
Elliott has managed to meet the sky-high expectations after the Cowboys drafted him fourth overall in this year's draft. He's the NFL's leading rusher with 891 yards, and has seven touchdowns.
Dallas' success has meant they've sold more jerseys through the first six week than they did during the entire 2015 season, a team spokesman told ESPN.
