Don't read too much into it, though.

While now-former Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott continues his search for his next professional home, there was a bit of speculation raised when he was spotted at Pittsburgh's Acrisure Stadium over the weekend.
However, don't read too much into that or think that it's the beginning of a potential contract. According to reports, he was in town to support former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier's "The Run for the Black and Gold" that took place Saturday. As you may remember, both of them were teammates with the Ohio State Buckeyes.
With the likes of Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren already on the roster, Pittsburgh also has Anthony McFarland, Master Teague and rookie Alfonzo Graham all to compete at the RB position.
Elliott posted career low numbers last season with the Cowboys, and they made the difficult decision to part ways with him after he'd been with them since being taken in the 1st round of the 2016 NFL Draft from the Buckeyes. As of now, he remains on the open market.
