The NFL has always said that regarding the possible Zeke Elliott suspension, he would not be suspended for the upcoming game if a ruling cae down after Tuesday during a given week. That may not be the case anymore.
The point is that the Cowboys will begin preparations for their upcoming opponent so to as not be given an unfair disadvantage, if the ruling came down late in the week, Zeke would play in the game on the weekend and then start his suspension.
This week is particularly important with the Cowboys playing against the Green Bay Packers. With a loss the Cowboys would fall to 2-3 on the season and still be at the mercy of a possible Zeke Elliott suspension.
