NFL players are obviously awesome athletes and we tend to forget they have a more human side. Some are more public about their wish to make a difference, whilst others prefer to do it secretly and focus on the impact they have.
Former Broncos DT Malik Jackson did just that earlier this month when he contributed to the adoption of almost 200 pets in his new community in Jacksonville.
This might seem a bit pointless to help pets find a new home, but you have to see through the headlines. It's not about the pets, it's about the families that will have their lives changed with a new friend inside!
Jackson might be a huge guy but we can't argue that his heart is even bigger. Congrats, sir!
