Former Cowboys WR Terrell Owens makes big claim regarding Tom Brady

Is he on point here?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady nearly once again pulled off the absolutely improbable, authoring yet another incredible playoff comeback in the 4th quarter to tie the game against the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round in January.

However, it wasn't meant to be, as Matthew Stafford would lead his team on a game-winning drive down the field capped by a walk-off field goal. Stafford and the Rams would eventually win the Super Bowl with a victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

And while Brady initially decided to hang up the cleats, he had a change of heart and announced his return for the upcoming 2022 season with the Bucs.

And one former player, who also decided to come back after initially retiring (albeit currently playing for the Knights of Degen of Fan Controlled Football), says that he could have helped Brady and the Bucs advance. Hall of Fame WR Terrell Owens declared recently that had he been playing, Brady and the Bucs could have repeated as champs.

"They played the Los Angeles Rams (in the NFC divisional round), they had no production in the first half,Owens said“They [the Bucs] came back, they tied the game up.”

The Bucs were able to mount a comeback, in Owens' words, due to "Tom Brady, with his greatness."

“You put me on that field, in the first half or even the second half of that game,” he continued. “Tom Brady could very well have his eighth Super Bowl ring."
