Former Steelers DT arrested yet again
It's the second time in as many weeks he's been arrested
This is clearly an individual who is having a hard time staying out of trouble. Former Pittsburgh Steelers DT Isaiah Buggs was arrested for the second time in as many weeks, and has been charged with domestic violence burglary, a Class-B felony; reports indicate he was released.
He was arrested earlier this month for alleged animal cruelty in Tuscaloosa County. Buggs played three seasons for the Steelers and another pair of years for the Detroit Lions before being signed by the reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
More information via Forbes:
"The Tuscaloosa Police Department told NBC News that Buggs was arrested on a domestic violence/burglary charge—which applies when the victim of the crime is the parent, child, current or former romantic partner or roommate of the alleged assailant—and was released on a $5,000 bond (the department did not immediately respond to Forbes’ request for comment Sunday).
No further details of the arrest or of an alleged incident have been released.
The news comes less than three weeks after Buggs turned himself in over misdemeanor animal cruelty charges that came after police officers found two dogs locked on a screened-in back porch in Tuscaloosa with no access to food or water (one of the dogs was later euthanized)."
