The Dallas Cowboys are set to meet with one of the better free agent running backs left on the market.
According to Nick Eatman of the Cowboys website, Washington Redskins' running back Alfred Morris is due to meet with the Cowboys on Monday, in hopes of getting a contract offer from the team.
Before Morris was set to hit the free agent market, the Redskins were allowing him to go out and find a truly great offer from another team. As it happens, that team might be the rival Cowboys.
Morris is coming off his least productive season as a pro, and failed to reach the 1,000 yard mark for the first time in his four year career in 2015.
The offers haven't been rolling in for him, but one would have to think that putting Morris behind the NFL's most stout offensive line would definitely improve his production.
This could be an enticing move for the Cowboys.
