There's some good news coming soon for the Denver Broncos.
A report from Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio has revealed that Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak will be naming his starter next week, although it's still unclear as of this time which of his three quarterbacks will get the job.
“We have three quarterbacks, two of which weren’t on this team last year and one that has one regular-season snap,” said Kubiak toreporters on Monday. “I knew this was going to take some time. I think it’s a credit to them and how well they’ve pushed each other. It’s down to the nitty-gritty here. I’m going to make a decision next week and we’re going to go to work. They’ve all put themselves in position to go out there and compete.”
It's not an easy position for Kubiak to find himself if, and as a result it's understandable that he wants as much time as possible to make a decision. While this is merely speculative, it may be worth noting that Trevor Siemian will be getting the start in the Broncos third preseason game.
