Georgia's Jamaal Jarrett under fire after racially charged comment
Not his best judgement at all.

Yeah, this isn't going to be one of the finer moments of this young man's career.
Four-star defensive tackle Jamaal Jarrett, who has committed to play for the national champion Georgia Bulldogs next season, is under fire after making a racially insensitive remark while watching the 2023 NFL Draft. His words were delivered towards an Asian man who announced the selection of the Atlanta Falcons at No. 8 overall.
"Jalen Carter, come on Asian. Ching chong," the speaker, apparently Jarrett, is heard saying.
And understandably, there was plenty of harsh reaction on social media in the immediate aftermath.
"Practically no coverage of UGA football player Jamaal Jarrett spouting an anti-Asian racial epithet. The school and football program needs to hold him accountable for his actions. The fact that he did this after the racist Atlanta spa shootings just two years ago is unacceptable," a Twitter user wrote.
"A Georgia Bulldogs football player made anti Asian comments on his Instagram Live when he saw an Asian man announcing a pick in the NFL Draft," said the Asian Crime Report. "His name is Jamaal Jarrett. This is unacceptable and disgusting."
