Owa Odighizuwa of the New York Giants has been suspended without pay for the first four games of the 2017 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.
Odighizuwa will be eligible to return to the Giants’ active roster on Monday, October 2 following the team’s October 1 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Odighizuwa is eligible to participate in all remaining preseason practices and games.
Odighizuwa was thethird-round pick, 74th overall, at the . He played 14 games last season, making 2 tackles, 3 combined, and 1 pass deflection. The 25-year-old's rookie season in 2015 was derailed due to a series of injuries, he was limited to playing only 4 games.
