New York Giants' star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had some really kind words for the young and promising Evan Engram, New York's first-round pick in the 2017 NFL draft. He even compared him to Seattle Seahawks' Jimmy Graham and New England Patriots' Rob Gronkowski!
While Beckham Jr. knows Engram does not have their size, he still believes his physical abilities can make him a mismatch for any defense, and is still very excited about what the 22-year-old can bring to the team's offense, next season.
"But he is a real hybrid. If you put him out there and you have a safety guard him that is going to be trouble, if you put him out there and you have a linebacker guard him that is going to be trouble and from what I have been hearing he has even tortured corners. So I am really looking forward to seeing him develop and how his game is going to evolve and just what he can bring to the table," per 247 Sports.
Engram played his college football at Ole Miss, where he recorded 162 receptions for 2,320 yards and 15 touchdowns.
The Giants' mandatory minicamp will continue until Thursday, June 15.
